SOAP Romans 8:35-37

Scripture: Romans 8:35-37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. …

What can I observe here? Life in Christ does not mean life without hardship, neither does hardship in life infer punishment or Christ's absence.

How do we apply this? Expect troubles as a natural part of life but don't be driven by the wind of circumstance. God's love is a constant and through it we are promised the power to overcome.

A prayer: Thank you Father God that there is nothing that is able to separate me from your love. Please help me to live the life of a conquerer today and to fulfil your purposes for me. In Jesus' name. Amen
